I think that everyone who dismisses The Scarlet Letter as junk is very mislead. The book is pre-twentieth century and is obviously going to have some confusing sentence structures, get used to it. In the end, you'll be far ahead of the person who only reads what is fun and interesting. Challenge yourself!
