Scorpions everywhere.

Something bizarre has been going on for the last few days. Earlier this week, I decided to bust out something I haven't listened to a long time, "Virgin Killer" by the Scorpions. Now, suddenly, everywhere I turn, I am hearing the Scorpions. I put on Pandora, Scorpions. I turn on the FM radio in my car (which I almost NEVER do mind you, it's always either sports talk or my iPod), Scorpions. I go hang out with a bunch of guys I play board games with on Saturday, they are playing Scorpions. I turn on "Full Metal Jacket", a heavy metal music station on Direct TV. The last artist that played before I shut it off to go to bed, Scorpions. The first group I hear when I turn it on today, Scorpions. This is all in the span of about 2 days. Anyone ever experience something weird like this?

I see Morrissey and The Smiths everywhere. I guess it's just because your mind is tuned in on a certain thing at a certain time.

After I watched all of Doctor Who I saw similarities to it in everything I read, I compared a short story for kids to his regeneration.

i haven't listened to the local "Rock" stations much recently, but this week I tuned in twice in the car, and did a quick preset check now and then during commercials at other stations, for a total exposure (though not necessarily for more than a few seconds each) of probably about 10 or 12 songs (on that station) over two days. Two of the songs were the Scorpions, and I listened to them the whole way through (or most of the way, anyhow).

I had only heard them maybe once previously in the past year or two, BUT I hardly ever listen to that station. It wasn't strange to hear them the first time, and I just felt lucky to have caught that song (rather than some Nu-metal or the same-old AC/DC or something)--but it was a bit of a surprise to hear two different songs by them in such a short span of time.
