Unlike the prophet Moses,
Who saw the box's picture,
And smashed the grand design
To disconnected pieces;
Unlike genius Da Vinci,
He, with imagination,
From wood we write upon,
And ink, made masterpieces.
I must, like Nostradamus,
Along with intuition,
Scry from my crystal ball
Some coalesced abstraction.
Like Humpty Dumpty's falling,
Within itself a failure,
This child cannot be king,
With lost and inverse pieces.
No, I am just a blind man,
Stumbling into ideas.
I listen to my heart,
As I puzzle out the art.
Who saw the box's picture,
And smashed the grand design
To disconnected pieces;
Unlike genius Da Vinci,
He, with imagination,
From wood we write upon,
And ink, made masterpieces.
I must, like Nostradamus,
Along with intuition,
Scry from my crystal ball
Some coalesced abstraction.
Like Humpty Dumpty's falling,
Within itself a failure,
This child cannot be king,
With lost and inverse pieces.
No, I am just a blind man,
Stumbling into ideas.
I listen to my heart,
As I puzzle out the art.
