Poetry is but that lost proffession
Which every generation must re-learn,
By stumbling through the memory
Of a distant Eden.

Poetry is but that lost proffession
Which every generation must re-learn,
By stumbling through the distant memory
Of an ancient Eden.
Is your "proffession"
a vanity of poetic license
or just a folly
of a tired finger?

Too proselike and preachy for me. A short piece like this should not be peppered with redundancies. You have many in this one.
generation - relearn
distant - memory
ancient - Eden
Take care!

Hey AIII, poetry is an art, not a profession... it's never lost but passed over from generation to generation and some poets memory has hell for their fertile ground...
Anyhow, it was nice to find you again on the pages. I myself am back here again, slowly reading new and older entries. Cheers!
