She Appeared From The Clouds

She congealed in the clouds
Then appeared in full arrayed glory.
An angel from the burst of time,
When all cherubs buzzed around divine skies,
And only the special ones
Were held back for man.

She with a beauty greater than Eve
Though I suppose Adam would disagree;
But he didn't have what I did see
One so beauteous and lovely.

I gazed my eyes in the sky
Then to God I lifted praise;
For such my undeserved blessing
To behold the beauty of everlasting ways.

She came attired in God's finest
Silky heavenly robe,
And I was just a mortal man
Like his prophet job.

My eyes truly gazed upon
A cherub of the highest esteem.
She walked as though floating
From the steps of the heavenly.

She spoke with a twinkle in her eye
A look one can not describe.
You're coming back to me", she said:
"I'm to be your angelic wife!".

And as I woke from the dream
I spent a moment what seemed
Reflecting on my ceasing life.
And as I closed my eyes for good
It was her I saw, my heavenly wife
