we had read this book for my soph honors 2 english class. at first, i thought it was going to be a boring book..at first(1-12 chapters) i knew i was right and i wondered how anyone could possibly read and enjoy this book...with it's long drawn out sentences and critical plot line of hester, i never thought i would actualy begin to enjoy reading about it..towards the end, i finally realized the importance of this book in today's world and the truth it holds about past days
