A little bird told me that some forum members had been enquiring after my whereabouts. Well I haven't fallen off my perch although I did manage to avoid falling off of a ladder being used to cut branches from trees that were overhanging my garden: this being only one of the things that needed doing around the place due to an attachment to the Internet that had left them undone for far too long. A computer crash facilitated the work being taken in hand but it prevented me communicating for a while and I still have problems with it and I was only occasionally able to take a brief look at the forum.
Anyhow, now that I have taken up reading again, I have decided to take a sabbatical by awarding myself time off for good behaviour but I hope to post
something suitably diverting in due course.

Well I'm relieved Emil. The thread enquiring about your whereabouts got locked. You're really something around here!

It does rear the possibility that we don't get to know of/ sympathise/ send good wishes to anyone who is taken ill or who becomes incapacitated or worse.

Kasie has posted recently that she is taking time off for a move, and previous to that she informed us of a hospital visit. Quite often things move quickly though.

Anyway - nice to have you back.

Well, it's nice to know you're still here. :)

It's also nice to know that people still care about other people, though (or at least those posting in this thread anyway. I don't know what to make of the others. As I said, I am clueless in that respect:D).

So can I now have some 'get well wishes' because I have been down with something flu-like for two days. :nopity:

Nice to have you back. I look forward to reading posts from you.

I'm still not sure why... ?

I'm still not sure why... ?Because the discussion has moved onto new realms such as other members' infraction points.

Glad to see you are back, Emil :)

Oh I'm so glad you posted!! As you know, and I have said this so many times, I love all things British. And you certainly remind me of my favorite city.

Bonjour, Emil!

"The Return of Vonny" (Cue old slasher film music, dark shadow stabbing into the night.....)

She was gifted with one post . . . and it was wasted on Emil. :(

P.S. That was just a joke, not a personal insult.
