Since the holidays are upon, I'd thought I try a crack at writing something of a spiritual nature. Not meant to stir up divisions or anything, just my belief. Kinda in the style of Revelation. Thank you.
. . .

Once upon an inspiration
There was a lifting of the clouds
And behold!
A gleaming light that of heaven
was found
And there were certain angels
swirling about
And all heavenly creatures
great and small
Beaming of smiles
upon their face
And there was no sadness
of any kind
Only elation.

And behold I heard a voice as like a trumpet
Teaming down from heaven:
A certain prophet spoke the word of the lord,
“Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
"Even so, amen," said the prophet, as he fell on his knees to pray.

And there upon me were two angels
One on either side; One arrayed in pure white, the other a mulberry purple.
And they held in each their hands a golden cross and atop was a crystal, that of a star, and each spoke out, "welcome that you may see, the wonders of heaven and all that is held for believers. Rejoice! for this place is of Him, the prophets spoke of, from days of old, and even now waits with its gates open."

"That all things promised are given to those who believe and those who He had showed mercy. For great is the Lord and merciful." And then I saw, the angels spread forth their hands of the cross and a great light, that of which I'd never seen, settle down and all around the realm. And they spoke, "go and remember the things you saw, for the Lord is wonderful and he remembers his children."

And upon the inspiration I - did wake, and - wrote down the inspiration, And the days that followed.

. . .

And upon a inspiration a voice spoke "come with Me"
And I answered "yes Father".
And there was a lifting of a Great cloud
And I was held by a Great light
Of earth? no, but of heaven!

And I ate of the food of the wilderness
And was told many wonderful things;
Of great things in the sky,
And alongside me were administering spirits
Infused with great wisdom,
And they spoke of things
Hidden from the eye of man,
A wisdom I could not comprehend;
For I found myself in a great place,
A heavenly dwelling
Hidden from the thoughts of man.
That only one may see
through belief,
The greatness that awaits them
of the Lord.

And his prophets spoke of Him
And praised Him in songs.
For they had seen
That many would not believe
The One of truth,
For truth was not in fashion.

And though many miracles He performed,
It was not for glory's sake.
For He said,
"Better it is to believe and not see".
And still they do not see.
For if they did not believe the prophets
How would they believe He?
And they laid waste the prophets
For the very nations were deaf,
Hardened by disbelief,
And still even so,
The wisdom of God falls on deaf hearts.

But so you know
I have tasted the tree of wisdom,
Ate of the white manna in the sky,
Testified the Lord is God,
That you may be quickened in belief
That many saints will appear in the sky,
And the Lord will come in Great Glory
Of a heavenly appearance,
Pure
As the driven snow of heaven,
And He will testify for those who believe,
And His testimony is true.

~Consider The Lilies~

And upon a sun drenched field
I saw a great canopy of purple -
Precious flowers toiling in the wind,
And the great Lord spoke:

"Consider the lilies, how they grow:
They toil not, neither do they spin;
Yet I say unto you,
Even Solomon in all his glory
Was not arrayed like one of these".

And the Lord made all these by His hand,
That you may believe He is the Life.
