Today I burried my hamster Spryciaż (Rascall) my beloved pet. He died while I was on a trip to LOndon so I didn't even get to say goodbye. I am so depressed I cried for a really long time. I really miss him. He did all these funny things that made me laugh and he preformed cool tricks.
Well, I was just wondering if any of you ever lost a pet and felt really sad about it. If you did then post your story here.

Sorry to hear of your loss.
My brother, sisters and I had pet hamsters, gerbils and rats growing up. My son had a hamster named "Pebbles"; a character from the Flinstones. We lost a pet dog named "Scooter" about one year ago. He was a Dacshund mix, a sad day indeed.

Oh, I am so sorry...

We have not had the misfortune yet, although that day is going to come...

About one year ago we did lose a little kitten which I am quite certain was down to me... We have had kittens quite a few times and I normally start to touch them when their eyes are open, taking them out of the nest etc. in order to get them used to human hands. My cat is normally present so she can give them a good lick. I guess that time I was too complacent and thought, 'Oh, she knows my smell.' During the following days, there was this screaming kitten, but I didn't take the time to have a look and then, the next thing we knew was that there was a kitten dead in the nest... It must have been the one I touched. Our cat had never done that before and has always produced cats that live through childhood at least... Such a shame. We burried it in the garden under the trees so its spirit can roam around there...

We've all had pets that have died, even runaway. I had a female dog named Willie. She got ran over in '91. But I didn't cry over it.
