Who is pumped for baseball season! I attended the Indians opening marathon of a game today. Holy crap that was an endurance test. Should have been over in the 9th, but Chris Perez blew a 3 run lead and it ended up going 16. Wouldn't have been so bad except that it was COLD. At the end of the 15th, we had to leave our seats just to walk around the concourse a bit and get some feeling back in our, by then, numb legs. We headed over to the Homerun Porch just in time to see JP Arencebia hit a disheartening 3 run blast for Toronto. It was a sellout crowd of about 45,000, but by the time the game was over, there were maybe 5,000 left. Crushing loss, but at least I can always say that I attended the longest opening day game in Major League History (unless, of course, someone else surpasses in).
