I cry out
no one listens.
I give more,
No one is satisfied.

Life is but a chance
dreams are only dreams
reality....is real
and dampens all
we hope to be.

kittypaws....feeling sad.

Apparently so... Well cheer up, in a hundred years who'll care? ;) Not a bad little poem this, kitty. Nice to see you are still about.

Aw Kitty. I'm sorry that you're sad but I'm also glad you're posting too. Sounds like you're giving more than you have.

The second stanza reminded me of what I used to do when I couldn't get my teenage daughter out of bed for school. The wet flannel. Reality over dreams each time! Gosh she hated me when I resorted to that! She still loves me though and there are no limits to dreams Kitty...

hugs to you.

Cheer up Kitty! :)

Sounds like you need a hobby to take your mind off the all-over-the-place wavelengths of everybody else. Just write more about what actually interests you perhaps? That way you only have to suffer the compliments :)

Your sadness brings me pause
Like a stone is satisfaction
Seek joy in every moment; for
with joy you may bask in the light

Delta....I am always happy to hear from you...thank you for taking the time to read and reply....don't worry I am very resistance lance. (Is that a word???)

Yes, I will keep posting as long as you promise not to give your daughter the wet flannel! OMG! That had to be a horrible...but then again when the bell rings we have to get up and go to it!

I am sure she loves you....

Honestly, I don't need any more hobbies then what I have...I planted my spring garden crop of spinach, lettuce (a variety of mixes) beets and carrots for Zeus!

I already had to cut my lawn grass and it needs it again!!! Busy Bee here with more then enuf....but I love to be in the gardens!

and I luv Spring~here is a picture I took just the other day.
Perhaps someone would like to write about the beauty and innocence of it?
