I'm not sure if this has been done before and I used the search function to see if there was some old topic that related to this one but nothing came up so I'm either resuscitating it from the bowels of ancient LitNet General Chat threads or I'm coming up with something new. I was inspired to start this thread based on wanting to get to know people like BienvenuJDC's Who Are You? thread. So without further ado...

I am currently a senior at a University and my major is biology with a minor in chemistry.

Go.

It's really great that there are science/math majors around here. It's breaks away from the expected crowd of English majors.

Me, I'm did a major in English, minor in Classical Studies.

I have a B.Sci. in microbiology and immunology from McGill University.

I will have a B.A. in honours literature with a minor in poli sci by April, it morphed out of a poli sci major and was completed part time largely as a hobby.

I will be going on to a M.A. in cultural studies at McGill in September, back to school full-time. I'm hoping to teach CEGEP, which is grades 12-13 in Quebec and requires a Master's for teaching qualification.

I'm only just over half done my degree. I've studied mostly english and philosophy. I want to major in classics and I might turn down a sweet situation in one town where I can live and study cheap in order to go to a bigger university with a solid classics department. If I don't I'll major in english and history. I spent a year upgrading my sciences because I wanted to get a biology degree but science takes immeasurably more effort for me than humanities and I'm frankly too lazy to bother.

This is actually making me think hard about what I want to do. I could go to the place where its cheap to live and study and do a couple years of science and then reassess if I wanted. Damn. I thought I had this matter solved.

I have a major in Sociology. I don't whether that means I'm less argumentative as a result - or perhaps it's because I'm getting older....

BA Hons degree in Literature. There's a little politics and media in with it as well.

I don't have any plans to study any further or anything else at this stage.

I did two of four years for an English degree but stopped due to moving country. So I get by with a mediocre comprehensive high school education. On the plus side, I have more time for personal reading. I think one day in the future I will start again though.

BA in developmental psychology.
Master in general elementary education plus certificate in special ed. (21 credits) to qualify for the state certification. But sometimes I think I want to go back for something else like psychology or SLP. Not there yet!

It WAS English, then Science Psychology.

Now it's ecology... or botany. *cough*

Gee, I wonder why it's taking me so long.

Lol I can be volatile as well since I've been thinking about doing a full major in chemistry considering I usually get better grades in it than in biology. But then again it's going to take ages to do that.
