Yesterday I bought "The Short Stories: The First Forty-Nine Stories With a Brief Preface By The Author" by Hemingway. The first story was Francis Macomber and I just finished it. This was my first time willingly reading literature and so I started with Hemingway. I understood the great majority of it aside from the very end and the deeper literature meaning. Would anyone care to explain this to me? Thanks!
