Hello
My name is Sylvi-Ann, I'm from Norway and I study English litterature and culture at the university of Bergen.
I have come to the point where I am to write my bachelor paper in British litterature, and I have been given some litterature and an angle.
My thesis is about the project of modernity and the importance of rural landscape in two novels from the time. I have used "Coming up fro Air" by George Orwell and "Between the Acts" by Virginia Woolf. These are two very different novels, and is therefore very useful to compare and contrast to each other.
However, I feel that I am very shallow in my writing, and would be very appreciated if I could have some inputs and ideas to what I should focus on and how I should angle my thesis so that it is relevant.
