Seven Pins

Bring me today's voodoo dolls,
the candles and the pins,
each of you, carry one doll
and do as I say.

Stick a yellow pin in stomach
for success and money,
now, put the red one deep
for the great power,
follow it by a black,
let him taste some pain..
take away the first two
and fix a blue pin instead,
love will make it up for him.

He is now too old to suffer,
another black pin to heal him,
and a one like his hair
to give good karma and energy,
a green and a purple
let him rest and get closer to me,
now, he is finally ready,
stick the pink pin in the heart,
blow all the candles,
prepare tomorrow's dolls,
and welcome our guests.

Never fear, Jerry is here :)
I enjoyed it but I was left wondering the reasons behind the colours of some of the pins.... I may have been over thinking it!

The time scale also confused me as this seemed to be happening in a day and yet the victim seemed to be going through a life time.

Those two points aside it was dark and imaginatve and original and I dont blame you for despairing at no replies, as it deserves many.

Wow I tought that was a verdy good poem. The best one I have read here in the last couple of days for sure. I really liked it. I began reading it and wanted to read more. With most poems I read the begining and must force myself to cintinoue. Very good poem, I am suprised it was ignored.

Thanks lots Jerry, for reviving my poem :D, about the colors of the pins, well this is how the spell works, each pin has a different effect depending on the color, it has nothing to do with the color's meaning itself, and about the time scale, there's a great difference in time zones between earth and heaven :D may be the day in heaven is equal to decades on earth :D I am glad you liked it. :D
