This is a fantastic book. Although written about a period before her time, Austen's style and narrative is ahead of her time. Fabulous. So conserved in a way, but there are so many openings and meanings. I don't think you can use the word "boring" for anything. Unless you are a fool. An ignorant fool. Which that "critic" (and I use the word in the loosest sense possible) probably is.<br><br>So glad everyone else isn't that silly. Does anyone know of a good P&P website for analysing characters?<br><br>Thanks.
