Oh my goodness! Thank you all!!!! I feel I have neglected you all so badly but promise to make it up to you. Things have been rough but now they have let up a bit and I can somewhat recover from all the strife I have been through in the past 6 or so months. My mother remains the same but is in a nicer facility and it is easier to cope. Little Lady Brooke is great! I go as much as possible to share time and fun with her. Her and I are two peas in a pod in things we love: ballet, music, dance, art, board games, jigsaw puzzles and anything creative. She is wonderful and so smart. I love every second with her. She is my little miracle and makes my life so worthwhile and happy. She informed me recently that she was 1, then she was 2 and now she is 3, and soon she will be 4...how time flies!
It is sunny here and I am happy progressing now with some home redecorating and improvements I was able to continue with. I think I have come through ok and will be getting back to each of you individually soon, my dear dear friends. I love you all!!!!xxoooo!!!

Thank you all my great friends. I am touched and amazed how much you all missed me. Hang in there a little longer and I will get back to you tomorrow on a more personal level. I have reformed some and don't pull anymore 3AM's....I am sometimes in bed by 12 and even get up early...as early as 9...for a night owl that is an acheivement. I love all your cool wishes...more on this tomorrow since I am half asleep presently and care barely type or think for that matter. Thanks again everyone. Yes, I am still alive and planning the future. One final note: Brooke called me tonight and sang "Happy Birthday" to me...so cute - she is one smart and talented little Lady. That really put the icing on my Birthday cake! I love her so much! I am blessed...and with all the great friends I value here on this site as well.

Hi Pensive, good friend. I thought I would start here on Litnet. I have been away from the computer ever since my birthday..well practically...mostly just checking email and weather. I though your last post so beautiful and at the time it did make me smile a lot. It was pretty enough to post again.

I am sorry to everyone for not further responding to this wonderful birthday thread. I honestly have not been feeling so well between allergies, aches and pains, IBS, IC, Sciatica (that's a big one! eekk) and stress. Things will get better one of these days.

This writing is so sweet and I do feel that way about my granddaughter. As a grandmother I feel I step forward into her generation when we walk together. It is like handing over the crown of life to one's offspring. By the way, Brooke loves dance and art and singing. I do, too. We are two peas in a pod!
