I've finally pushed myself to read JJ's Ulysses and of course have been having a hard time getting through "Oxen of the Sun". I've consulted everything I could find on Google and understand what Joyce is saying in this episode. But I'm really interested in a more analytical discription of the various methods utilized. I find I can understand most of the early English but still don't know what the message is. I'd really appreciate any tips.
Also, I'm really happy to have found a site dedicated to serious literature.
