It happened on a windy day
when it was sleeting pretty hard
when everybody took a shield
they danced in the blizzard

They danced and danced without break
as if the snow did never fall
as if the sun was shining bright
as if they're in a summer ball

Deaf to the howling of the winds
blind to the scenes of snow
they swayed from one to the other side
with elegant ease and flow

Now,if you're wondering who they were
who would have danced in a war
let me tell you they were none
but the wipers of a car!

It's a bit rickety, but it's got that spark of heart that poetry should have. 'Sleeting', and 'who would have danced in a war', were a bit of a tumble for me to get around, but I overlook them-- Just a personal preference. Overall, the poem is fun to read, and I always like verse with an unexpected twist. :D
