Mr Anderson

Through what I have read from the book so far (volume one) I have enjoyed the events that have developed as the novel has progressed. Firstly I have enjoyed the building relationship that has taken place between Mr Bingley and Jane, as it is a relationship that seems to be based on building love and desires to be with one another rather then just money or nobility. Although Bingley at this time appears to have declined from Jane, I have high hopes that he will return to her and marry her.

Secondly, I find the ignorance and strange ideas of Mr Collins to be very humorous and dumb founding. I find it hard to believe that a someone who calls himself a priest can be so full of himself and appear to act as if he has no real reason for being a minister of the church.

Finally, I enjoy the conflict and drama that occurs between Elizabeth and Darcy. In a way, it feels like that I as a reader are being encouraged to support Darcy and Elizabeth in building their relationship up as Darcy continues to try and arouse Elizabeths interest, while she continues to ever despise him more and more.

Although I sometimes find the text hard to understand, I can say that "Pride and prejudice" has certainly been alot better than I had originally thoughb when I first began reading the novel. I look forward to the events that will hopefully come from the volumes ahead.
