This is one of my favourite novels – every time I read it. The characters are enjoyable to meet, and the tension set up between Darcy and Elizabeth works to create wonderful humour as well as great drama. Their marriage is a victory for intelligence and integrity in a world built behind the facade of Collins, De Burgh and Wickham.
