Hello everyone,
I am currently doing research for an existentialist novel in order to round off the characters and bring out the ramifications of the themes. If you could recommend any non fiction and fiction of any medium which deals with the following themes and character traits, that it would be a big help!
Religion vs science, spiritual crisis, suicide, extreme ugliness, free will/determinism, trial, social criticism, complexity of the world, mirrors, individualism, moral relativism.
I already know of Camus, Sartre, Kafka, Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, St. Augustine, Dostoevsky, Schopenhauer, Orwell, Lukes.
I know it's a long list of themes but anything that represents well any of these themes is a gem to me right now!
Thanks a lot,
Laurence
