This is probably one fo my favourite books of all time. It is in every way a 'classic'- although I cannot deny that it may only appeal to a select audience (namely female). Lizzy is a brilliant character- forced to spend her life surrounded by a hysterical father, a boring sister and two infutiatingly lively ones- her only respite is that her sister Jane and Mr.Bennet are far more sane than the rest of the family put together! Saying this, I have to admit that Mrs.Bennet is a vital character- constantly worrying about other people's opinions and having very high opinions of herself and her 'girls'. <br>
