-A Carpet Of Bluebells-

Thirsty little flowers perked into my eyes,
My dreams bring down showers from heaven nigh;
Hear the ring of my bell singing from a chapel hill
And feel my well drenching forth lush rains on will.

A carpet of bluebells that dance in the wind
Matching her lips that gladly sings:
On the ears that remain in Springs air
With bluebells engaged in a dancing affair.

Bluebells of every size and width
Dancing in courtyards taken away my breath;
Against your blouse, a windy affair
You and bluebells spinning everywhere.

Wild bluebells, bright purples and blues
Lifting to the air in scented flights,
Amazing nature and her flowers
With bluebells that stir my heart's delight!

-A Bed of Dreams-

Lay upon my essence the gentle thoughts
Exhaling in the air,
With mine eyes gazing there
In the profoundness of a dream,
Marveling I'd been put there
Bustling in the spirit of the wind.

My soul can conform to the calmness
Prevalent on your expression,
As though dreams also slumber
Endless where it shall,
Arise in the comforting arms
Guiding them to my will.

You wanna know how warped my mind is? It took my, literally, minutes to realize it said "bluebElls" and not "bluebAlls." :lol:

A question about that first poem, Shadow . . . did you write it or not? You linked it to a YT video that claims to have gotten it from a different site . . .

As to the poems, I like them. I wasn't too crazy about the slant rhyme in the first, but I liked the Wordsworthian imagery in both of them.

I certainly did write it. Another site in which I post poetry is where they got it from. The person who made the video had asked my permission to make a video of it. I said okay. But I forgot about it until I discovered it today. Anyhow, they credited my pen name ShadowsCool.

I tend to write slant rhymes or internal rhymes what-have-ya.

Okay, just wanted to make sure. It is a neat video. Definitely compliments the imagery.
