The pretty little boredom
That mischief defies,
Like meaninglessness
Amidst profundity
Thrives,
Words kill words,
In being big and unwise
Dropped as though from nowhere
And sad to have arrived
In a royal hour as this…
When knowledge itself denies
Hoots the knowing owl
Wisdom raining down his eyes
“Where ?” his pupils he enquires
“In salvation”, owlets reply.

Hey, Little Gal. What Alexander III said is right. This forum is for the discussion of well-known, or perhaps little-known at times, poetry and poets. Sharing personal poetry is for the personal poetry section of the forums. :)

That being said, a clever poem nonetheless, and quite enjoyed.

i thought i made a reply about this poem. this is witty and humorous. as a teacher i cant help laughing so much of what i teach is meaningless. poor little owlettes.

with all respect and regards to my professors ... this has been inspired by one of the tedious prof one can have ... I nearly fell asleep during his lectures .. just one day I decided to take a break and revolt... :P :P :P
