There appears to be a common theme to the poems you write. I challenge you to push the envelope, and write a poem on the very last thing you'd ever write about. Just for fun. :D

That being said, ''You! hidding behind your fragile eyes,'' I believe it should be 'hiding'. :)

I do like some of the imagery that this piece evokes: ''The burn of candle scorches the walls'' is very sharp to me.

The rest seems all-too familiar, but maybe it should. :)

Well thanks for being of the few who take the time to read and review my poems. As for my themes being of a certain subject matter? I assure you, I only post certain "fluff" poems for this site. Fluff meaning, poems that are easily understood. Poems regarding love and other simple things. The reason being, I can only post 1 a day, and I've had certain 'critics' on here before. I write for enjoyment. Not trying to be something I'm not.

Writing poetry is like a love affair. Your popular for a few months and then the crush is over. I realize, to get through this period, one must persevere and not listen to critics. But I do, just not mean-spirited one's. Well anyway, thanks:smile5
