Mango juice is easy to make. Water, sugar (if you are allowed jugar, if not there is the natural sweetness of the mango. The quantity of mango depends on how thick you like your juice. The electric mixer does the rest.

Oh my, tailor! We are having an unusual hot winter in Brazil, in some states temperatures are near 40 C. And they foresaw an unusually hot summer in the northern hemisphere.They tell us to drink lots of water and put wet towels in strategic places. Or water basins, but then your kittens will think you are providing a swimming pool for them. As for the kittens, this link may have some helpful suggestions, so that you don't have to chase them in the last minute, when you have to leave. I only didn't like the suggestion of tuna for cats. Weather in winter over 100 F / near 40 C is nuts !

Enjoyed the carrier article. I also received the advice (from a friend with a kitty who is displaced still due to a fire) of a kitty cdb (cbd?) treat (which had been forgotten) that can be purchased to calm kitties. Sadly (sigh) Rosie passed on yesterday... 10 years old. I had to tell my wife while she was at the hospital for an overnight (or more?) visit, but she had been resigned to the possibility for some time and took it well... me, not so much... not a good day. (Tinker Bell is fine.)

Thanx! The fire crept ever so menacingly little our way... visible, but prolly 4 miles (6.44 km) away as the raucous crows fly... an area of perhaps 2000 acres (8 km2). The Park fire to our North in contrast continues to grow over 400,000 acres (1619 km2)... still managed to miss my old home in Magalia, near Paradise, CA again :) Tinker Bell (Tink, Tinky, ... ) is a cat born for these dystopian days; me, not so much :)

that's kinda scary tailor. I sometimes wonder about the wildfires out west and if there are ways that homeowners themselves can combat the danger to begin with, and then combat it specifically when its happening.

We have these fires in Brazil too,bounty. They use to be so very big that the fire brigade(including helicopters) take a lot of time to master them. They need the atmosphere, rain, humidity, to help them. The difference is that in Brazil these areas seem not to be populated by people. The report is always about the destruction of the vegetation ans wildlife.

Fires - One can denude properties of trees/brush around structures and some have resorted to sprinklers upon their roofs which may work until the electricity/water runs out to a small degree... In a true firestorm, which is happening all too frequently, nothing may help. Note: The Crozier fire is now 68% contained / the Park fire is 40% contained as of this post. :)
