I felt that Pride and Prejudice was an excellent novel. People may complain and say it dragged and that the subject matter of the people's everyday life was boring but those people have to realize this was written about a very different time than now. I thought Jane Austen did an incredible job illustrating society in a time when women were undervalued and money was earned merely through inheritance. I loved this novel and plan on reading it again. I suppose I'll view the movie as well and see if does the book justice even in the slightest. It will be difficult considering I'm quite the critic.

I definitely agree with you. Also, watch the version with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle. That is a wonderful version of it. Reading good novels again is a great thing to do. Because sometimes you look at it a different way, and it's interesting to look at your views before and now. :-)

Sure, That novel is my favourite one from Jane austen
And I've found the movie quite interesting. The look of Darcy is wonderful and Elizabeth can pretend to be the right one. I prefer the book, but the movie gives something definitively atractive...
( please correct me if I make grammar mistakes... thx )
