I swear I loved you,
like a young girl
loved a flower in her front yard,
she watered it every minute,
stood for hours with an umbrella
to keep her in the shade.

The flower slowly withered
so the poor child thought
that her love was not sufficient
and that broke her heart,
pursuing fast recovery for her lover,
she left the water running
and the sad umbrella stood
for days and days.

The flower was so ungrateful,
it grew very weak and died too soon,
the girl cried and cursed love,
the umbrella, the water
and the flower.

Hi Twota. I'm comparing the love the N has for someone like the love the young girl had for a flower. I'm confused about the sad umbrella and the ungrateful flower while she pursues a fast recovery for her lover. I assumed the ungrateful flower was a metaphor for the someone the N loves. Anyway, I'm a little lost on what is obviously a romantic, yet tragic poem where the N's love is supposed to be reflected in the story of a girl watering a flower but I may have misunderstood it.

Nice to see you posting again.

Deltaaa, missed your comments ;D
well, here -the the ungrateful flower was a metaphor for the someone the N loves-, that's true.
The lover is a silly young girl, the flower needs sunlight to grow and not too much water, what the girl thought was protection for the flower was only damaging and killing it, the girl murdered her lover and thought she was betrayed.
