There's no need to cry
Onion rings
No need to feel bitter
Brussel sprouts
Scrub the rough edges away
Potato skins
Listen to your heart
Corn ears
Think about the future
Lettuce heads
How greener it can be
Broccoli florets
How wonderful life will taste
Sweet peas

A little more optimistic than your usual recipe, Delta. I enjoyed your vegetable soup, it left a fresh clean taste in the mouth.

Vegetable soup? I thought this is vegetable burger. Or is it vegemite down under?
This is clever and uplifting and it just has all the right ingredients to give me a few moments of healthy thoughts.

Brilliant melding of veg and emotion. There is a line I never thought I would write. Deltaesque. There is a word I post often. x

It is a soup-erior effort Delta, to be garnished with parsley, savored with dipped buttered bread and slurped from the edges of the bowl.
