As alot of people, I am required to read this book for High School. The beginning I could understand (about 3 chapters >_>) but then I began to lose major intrest. -_- If only Dicken's writings could be easier to follow. But I read on and on (and sometimes reread >_<) until I got to a point where I could not stop. At first I thought I would never understand this complicated task but suddenly it was all so clear. The worst part was when I didn't know when the revolution began >>>XD. Seriously, the book is a really useful book. He changeed my thoughts about sacrifices completely (not that I made any.) For those who have not read it yet, keep reading until you get to Book II, where everything becomes clearer. Check out some spark notes is your extremely confused O_o. After a while, this book actually becomes....how do you say....fun :D. (Making this a bit longer <_<) Darnay and Lucie do not seem to be the main focus on the story but the meaning of it all. I lost focus on one subject and concentrated on everything that relays on it. Sydney Carton was a real man, keeping his everlasted promise to the very end. Honor and pride was set at the end while the beginning set on information of the time. The middle was, how you say, full of suspence >:P! One thing that bothered me....is this the abridged version of the story? Anyways, this book is WORTH READING, weather you are required or not. >_< why did I make this so long? Guess I read the last 13 chapters today and am bursted with enorgi!! Anyone want to discuss the book? >.> send an email maybe. (Thank Heavens this Book is finally over. Time to begin a new one......no, not Dicken's =/...)
