Any one been watching this series?

I absolutely love it. Sherlock, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, is such a great character.

I have series one in my list to watch from Netflix. Haven't been able to actually do it yet. Is it worth it?

Yes I watched it on New Year's Day. It's very slick alright. Nice touches with the laptops and smart phones - gives it an original and timely feel. Looking forward to tomorrow night's episode (Hound of The Baskervilles). Series One is on the watch list now, defo.

Never seen the series, but Benedict Cumberbatch is an awesome name--also a British specialty. Another example: singer Annalise Whittlesea.

It's brilliant! In the first series the first two are excellent and the third good but not as good. The first of the second series was fantastic. Can't wait for what they do with Hound of the Baskervilles tonight.

Got to say that Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are great as Holmes and Watson. The modern twist is very well done.

I love this show and they are both great actors. They will both also be in the Hobbit and Benedict is apparently supposed to be the villain in the new Star trek movie, I know I can't wait!

Yes I watched the one last week, it was OK, quite quirky and fun. I'll watch the Hound of the Baskervilles tonight as well.

I really enjoyed last night's final episode, very well done. Anybody else watch it?

I watched the first season, and really enjoyed it. Anyone know where an American, can get a hold of some of the new episodes. BBC is subtly leading the snub-those-Americans cause, them and their damn UK specific online episodes.

It is a pain if you can't access the i-player from outside of the UK. The three episodes of the second series were really good. Everyone I have spoken to who has seen these have enjoyed them so. I have had a quick look on Amazon and it seems that they are available on DVD. I don't know if they are available on region 1, as I didn't look into that, but if they are I would certainly recommend them.

Thanks, Neely! I always knew I would have to start paying for things someday.
