View Full Version : What to do with very small journal

I have a journal of my own, it's medium sized, and I write down my day-to-day stuff in it.
I just recently got these two very small, pocket sized, journals. I'm unsure what to use them for. I was thinking about using them to write down quotes I hear (when I'm not at home) and wish to remember.
Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Quentin

Are you an aspiring writer? Because obsessing about how to use a journal suggests you are more concerned about the paraphernalia of writing than actually writing. Life's too short for nonsense like this imho.

I totally agree with you. I write all of my thoughts in my primary journal, I was just asking if anyone had some unique ideas to write about aside from my usual journal. I'm not typically a creative thinker haha, but I'm trying to practice creativity every day.

Take it with you whenever you are out and about - creativity can creep up on you and if you don't make notes the moment is lost.

Would say moment is key here- but funny how they only come when you don't have anything to write with or don't have time to write.

A journal, sometimes, is just appeasement of separation anxiety.

I'm actually wanting to do this taking notes wherever I go stuff, I just don't get the chance to do so.
