Somedays you realize you're nothing but a scarecrow,
you might think, you might feel, you might scream,
but in the end
you're nothing but a decoy for the thing called reality.

Powerful idea. Would it be possible to contextualize?
How come you feel this way?
Also I'm curious about the final word...reality.
As I was reading the poem/thoughts, I was following along the logic of discourse and was expecting a word like "humanity" or "love"..."reality" is an interesting choice.
Anyway, thanks for the food for thought. :)

I feel that way too. All that's left is to enjoy what little there is to be enjoyed, in our small glimpses at whatever this reality thing is. I feel like a prisoner. A scarecrow, sure. A cog in a great turning wheel. Small and dying. Disappearing. Nothing.
I liked what you did, much more than I expected to. :)

If it is somedays, it is true. If it is everyday, it is bad. If it is very few days, it is very very good. Roses are red. Violets are blue. Hope you are very very good.

I feel there are two parts to these lines..
one part stating the common, desolate agony that can happen anytime to anybody with pushing the person to scream, feel horrified and meaningless
The line following: "you're nothing but a decoy for the thing called reality." magically glides in to give a very agreeable yet individual nature to the agony. It looks like a line with immense possibilities... but even then it is difficult to write a line after it of equal merit n appeal...
