Happy birthday! (can't help thinking of your mother umpteen years ago, slaving away and missing her Chistmas party...)Well... I have been told that my aunt actually said something along those lines: "Doggone kid, messing up the Christmas party...".

Happy Birthday, Claes! :)

An interview with ClaesGefvenberg:

*Why are we doing this interview thing?*
Same procedure as every year, James... (Quote from Dinner for one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uv1VgiDDHt8))

*Are you sure you want to do this?*
I am... probably....

Why would you want that?
Oh, let's get on with it, shall we?

*So, how old are you?*
At least 18992 days and 12 hours by the time this is published.

*If you had a personal theme song what would it be?*
Well... There is this Swedish song about a bloke who follows his whims...

*Are you male or female? *
Yes...

*If you owned the site, what would you change?*
Nothing much. I like it the way it is...

*What was the inspiration for your LitNet username? And if you could change it today, what would you pick?*
Well... You will have to ask my parents... They made the choice without asking me, after all....

*Which countries have you visited?*
Norway, Denmark, Finland, Britain, France, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Tunisia, Algeria, Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Israel, Thailand, Kenya, Tanzania... and this year: Malta.

*Which languages do you speak?*
My native Swedish of course, English, French and German in roughly that order. I usually manage to understand the other Scandinavian languages to a fair degree.

*If you could live somewhere different, where would it be and why?*
I have done a fair bit of travelling, and I seem to like most places I visit.

Have you heard the news today, oh boy?
Certainly. I am a news junkie...

*Do you have any pets?*
That would be my wife and daughter, I suppose? maybe not, but the neighbours cat assumed ownership of us a couple of years ago. Then he upgraded his reign to dictatorship, and made us follow his slightest whim. Now he seems to go for devine status. Are all cats like that???

*What makes you happy?*
The trio mentioned above, positive people, a pretty scenery, a task well done… and a good book.

*Do you feel comfortable in your walk with God/atheism? *
Absolutely.

*Which actor should play you in a movie based on your life?*
A handsome one

Who is your favourite Beatle?
Paul.

*How do you like your coffee? *
I'll have to admit that I am not really a coffee person, so it would be milk with coffee in it....

*Given the option, what animal would you choose to be?*
Last year I picked a bear due to the hibernation opportunity,

What did you want to be when you grew up?
Oh, just about anything I could think of. Being a quality Engineer never entered my mind, though, and that is what I am today.

*What's the biggest fish you've ever caught?*
There was this pike, about half a meter in length, but I have no idea about the weight.

*What makes you feel great about yourself?*
A creative solution to a sticky problem. If it is far out of the box, I will like it even better.

*How did you meet your significant other?*
At work. Apart from her, that place was pretty useless.

*What are you naturally good at? (Skills, abilities, gifts etc.)*
Most of the time I seem to be able to whip computers into obedience, coach people and solve problems.

*What is the one thing you must do before you die?*
Just one? That won't do...

*If you had to teach something, what would you teach?*
I do teach: Quality engineering and improvement techniques.

*What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?*
Anything not done to the best of my ability.

*If you were to be stuck at a particular time in your life, which one would you choose and why?*
A time when you are really able to reap the benefits of previous efforts.

How could I? There are interesting things happening all the time.

*What method do you cherish above all others, as means to improving your life?*
Keeping my mind open, and always trying to think outside the box.

*What one thing would you NEED to have on a deserted island if you didn't have to worry over food and water? *
I said a boat last year, but that is silly: Could I have an aeroplane, please?

Abdicate asap. Being a king has never been an ambition of mine (not to mention being a queen!)
