Perhaps I am one of the few people who actually have an interest in or pay much attention to the cover art of the books I read, but I do frequently look up the information of who designed the cover art, or the name of the artist the created the image, of the books I am reading. I find that short of physically owning a copy of the book it is quite difficult if not near impossible to find out any information about a books cover art. I remember there was a time a while back that I came across this book online and there was something particular about the cover design that caught my attention, cannot recall what now, but I tried to look up information about it and could not find anything to tell me who did the cover art for the book.
Now I came across this book which has recently been published "The Dovekeepers" and while the book itself I do not have any plans on reading, I was struck by the fact that the image on the book, which appears to be a photograph is identical to an illustration I came upon years ago on a Fantasy Art site, the name of the artist of which I can no longer remember, and so I was left wondering if this same person created the art for the book or if her art inspired the book design, but I tried to google it and cannot find any information on the cover art for the book.
