the walks get high

settle for dust

something has less
drawn as a crest.

the road ahead
is jolted waste
faster your feet
take you away,
the feel of air
is moist at first,
tranquil is pressed
give up you must!

your steps get flunged
heavy with trumps,
trepid is felt
singing a tale

cobbled a past,
ready is now
to lift a smile,
new paths of else
sprinkle a hope
the streets appear
visions
of bests
drifting you out
swiflty to say
