From inside the capsule
The Machine Master
Ponders his creation
Puffing on a juicy cigar

Multi-balanced brass cogs
In concentric eccentricities
Self-winding mainsprings
Wound to their maximum

Oil drippers swing across
The pulsating mechanism
Dolloping measured droplets
On sparkling pressure spots

Slip gears shift silently
In regulated semi-orbits
Back and forth around
The central structure

Like a robotic ballet
Each piece dances its part
Choreographed synchrony
Whirring, spinning, unfolding

This is just a cool poem for children or people (like this reader) who... uh... are overly imaginative. There's not a lot of analysis to be done in this one either. It just seems to be it is what it is. And what it is is entertaining, if you read it playfully, as it certainly must've been written playfully.

Multi-balanced brass cogs
In concentric eccentricities
Self-winding mainsprings

Reading these three lines aloud sounds cool- at least, in a California regional accent.

Oil drippers swing across
The pulsating mechanism
Dolloping measured droplets
On sparkling pressure spots

Same for this whole stanza, because of the first and last lines mostly.
