Rattle my bones oh dark one
ravage my corpse.
You are my Judas,
my betrayer
–biblical in your deceit–
I have laid my heart upon you
as a fool in pardon
of the raging endless hate
that outlined you in vengeance
set forth on the loyal ones
who know your darkest veracity,
–the bloodstained secret box
locked with chains of fear.
Never will they spill my friend
to the heavy footed dogs,
the way you have spilt me
in rivers of broken trust
to drown myself in sorrow
–in crimson deadly waves.
