Hi Guys
Quite new to the forums, however I have been lurking and reading for some time.
I have recently finished Julian Barnes` The Sense of an Ending and would really like to generate some discussion on it. Perhaps there is a previous thread which covers the novella?
The thing which has intrigued me most since finishing the book is the effect it had on me, never since my English Lit days at Uni has a book enticed me to tease away at the text in order to decipher its meaning.
I expect Barnes has -from a literary sense- achieved something which many authors can only dream of; the ability to get people talking long after they have finished the story.
Anyhow, sorry to ramble on but if anyone would like to contribute I would really love to hear their thoughts.
