hi everyone!

Does anyone know what is given in the Piazza by Herman Melville. It is a complicated story and I don't understand what is given to us.

Wow, I don't remember. I have read The Pizza Tales (sp?) but it has been a while. But, he lives in his house (pizza) with a nice view, and he sees a place in the hills that is very interesting to him. It seems like paradise. He gets there and he is unimpressed. I don't remember many details. When I read that the distince message that I took away was that there is no reason to have to try to get to something better. If things are ok, leave them that way. There is no reason to try to look everywhere for what is good (and what may seem good from far away).

But read reviews online. I'm sure that they will tell you more, and say it better. Then again, I may not have understood what he was trying to say at all.
