After reading 1984, I think that it should definitely be read in high school, but it should also be read in college. In high school, you begin to form your own opinions and you start to grow up a little more. Going back to this book in college should also happen because maybe then you'll feel differently and look at the topics covered in the book from a different perspective. I think this would allow students to really learn a thing or two from Orwell's work. I really enjoyed reading 1984 now, and I think I'll pick it up in a few years time to see how I feel about it then.
