Monsieur Pierre Poodle

Hair stylist to the stars

Hurtles through space

On a stolen hypersonic

Bicycle with a buckled

Front wheel and dodgy

Brakes, and a flat tire

He'll get it serviced when

He returns from his latest

Adventure hounding Super

Evil-doers, ne'er-do-wells

And Neptunian no-goods

Would they such a vehicle

They might escape Poodle's

Manicured clutches

But alas for them

Our caped cavalier

Has the only one

Powered by particle generator

Blasting X-rays and

Laser zappers at the

Felonious Supercrooks

He battles it out on asteroids

And comets in faraway

Solar systems before

Returning to Earth

For a good night's sleep

Hehe...this is a fun almost cartoonish read.
I like the title
Pierre Poodle
I also like the great variety of words used in it.
Monsieur Poodle must have had a great time whilst outing into space...haha

Bizarre! This is a poem that has a magnetic 'childishness' about it. It's not subject for very much analysis, although it is pretty amusing and there's a great pun in that he's a hairdresser for the stars and flies around in space.

This reader isn't old enough to hate this poem, and hopes he never will be.
