Can you forgive her?
She's sorry
She lost track
Of where she was going
Kept walking
Walking
Running
In the wrong direction

The path was attractive at first
Pebbles shaped like the roundness of the moon
Sand so silken it moisturized her soles
She felt closer to herself
The breath inside her felt real and heavy
As she paced in the wrong direction

Her hair flung behind her
She skipped, her toes lightly meeting the ground
Yet barely reaching the surface
Of things
Can you explain
What it feels like to glide
Across heaven?
She could

The salty air clung to her skin
She tasted it
On her tongue
Heavy humid air
She stood on a cliff up high
And overlooked the ocean
The fresh blue
Penetrating her soul
She reached the end
Of her path
So she jumped.

wow...this is too moving.
I never expected such an end.
It got me by surprise.
It started almost happy and to get to the end to such tragedy is very sad.
Such a moving title too.
I am sorry to hear about it in this way.
