I stumbled across a Ray Bradbury lecture just now, and after watching it, he offered his 'Bradbury Program' to follow, which involved reading one short story, one poem, and one essay a night. Now I've never really read any essays before, and am looking to, but all of the collections I've stumbled across seem to only be by one particular writers; I'm looking for perhaps a collections of many different essays by countless authors, so does anyone know about any collections I have in mind.

I found this, but I just can't seem to get into them when they're on the internet; not as much as in print anyway. But it exemplifies the type of idea I'm looking for.
I've read a couple of them, and I don't really know what I was missing :D
Thanks a lot.
