I stand straight, erect
like a dead man talking,
murmurring fervent imaginings.
Through half closed eyes,
I complete the picture in my mind.

Erotica swirls around my palette.

What a shelter,
what a storm.
In this frame, there can be no turning back.
Once my eagle has landed,
I'll smear out a turbulent landscape.

My passion is a bottomless pit.

Oily rags and turpentine
worship me at my feet.
The canvas surrenders her virginity
to my manic desire.
I maul her and break the hymen.

Gonna shoot my load across the cloudy skyline.

Oh wow. i absolutely loved the last verse where u compare the canvas to a woman's virginity and how she surrenders it to your "manic desire". Its a concept that's been thought of before (white canvas being pure) but the way you put it, was clever and scary yet strangely beautiful.

Well that's... well said. It's a presentation of how one might go about creating art. Maybe a lot of people look at it like sex. Sex gets some weird, personal stuff attached to it, after all. Please don't make a pun out of that.

That said, this poster doesn't regard creativity in that way. But it hardly matters. This is an interesting poem with unsettling imagery and implications. It reminds this reader of American Psycho for some reason.
