there is a light
flickering ahead
through bushes
and ferns
teasing its way
waking their sway,

there is a sigh
rising up high
sounds of cygals
almost of pies
singing the day
marvel designs,

there is a scent
metling with waves
sprinkling the tides
lemons condense
ribbons of cloves
peaches and murr,

there is a tale
bringing the flore
crimson and toned
orangy blue
breezes and fields
amore of worlds,

there is a brigde
built of a tilt
stones upon grips
swinging its witdh
amassing in drips
rain upon rain,

there is a moon
tuning a leap
turning on tunes
sparkles of lunes
strung on a dawn.

It is indeed a mixture of consciences. The rhetoric of consistency is a Protagorian aberration of sophism. No diarrhealectics. Parallel flows, per subject. Beautiful, elucidating piece. Swift style.

With feedback like cafolini's I wouldn't know whether it was sincerely flattering or taking the mickey. It's almost as incomprehensible as some of this poem's lines.

There's something funny going on here!

Hi Cacian

Being a newcomer to this site, I am way out of my intellectual league: (My poems are too arcane, my language too flowery, and - horror of horrors - I place a premium on rhyme and rhythm). Be that as it may, you scatter metaphors like a cumulus nimbus scatters rain drops and your poem takes the reader on a totally unpredictable journey.

Alas, no one has ever told me that apropos my poetry: The rhetoric of consistency is a Protagorian aberration of sophism. No diarrhealectics. Parallel flows, per subject. Beautiful, elucidating piece. Swift style.

Thus the mountain I have yet to climb suddenly appears steeper still. I'm sure that the cafolini quote is an encouragement to us all.

Regards

haha...dear Fellsman...I am still laughing at your brilliant way of putting it:
''you scatter metaphors like a cumulus nimbus''..lol
It is one the best lines I have read in a while:wave:
As to cafolini 's surreal comments who knows..the effect of too much poetry might lead one to make more of it and in an impredictable way too..hehe..
Thank you for reading my piece.
