In my spare time i do a bit of 3d modeling.

This is an ancient Greek city set, for the game Civilization III:

I will post more when i have completed them. Feel free to provide your own 3d models of buildings, landscapes, cities or organics :)

Kyriakos,
I currently work as an architect, but my role over the past few years has kept me away from actual drafting and modeling, so I am unable to share any 3d computer generated models.
However, if you are interested, our company uses Autocad Revit software and "Sketch up".
When I first started working out of college, I was involved in 3d modelling using early generation Bentley Microstation software.
Regardless of the technological advancements and use of computers, I remain "old school" and would prefer to build physical models out of Basswood or museaum board.

In the early 1970's, several Beechwood and Lime models were built, representing several of Andrea Palladio's buildings. The models are well crrafted and highly detailed.
I'm having trouble finding a website with several examples, but this site includes at least two pictures of the models I refer to. If you scroll down toward the bottom you will see a model of Villa Capra aka Villa Rotunda.

I do have a watercolor of Villa Capra, but not 3d perspective or isometric view.

Your modelling looks fine.
Do you have 3d software that allows you to rotate the views, adjust persepctive view points, zoom in for details, etc?

Hi Gilliatt, how are you? :)

That site looks excellent... Unfortunately i cannot create anything out of wood, and i agree those models are amazing.

I use Bryce 6.1, which is a 3d modeler. All my 3d work is done with it. It allows changing perspective, zoom in and all other 3d features.

Here are some more examples, a new style in city making, most of an ancient Japanese set, and the ancient Greek one:

A comparison of my new style (top row) and the one before it:

I think the new one is a big improvement :)
