The Word “Human” can be taken by spoonfuls
Or like a gel from Vitamin Shop twice daily.
It’s excellent for inducing sedative trances
And it also ameliorates philosophical intoxications.
A little frame with “Human” in the middle
Is better than “Home Sweet Home”
And even better than a talisman from ancient Persia.
It’s useful to find love unfathomable
And overpowers a Rolls Royce for riches
Without anybody having to know it.
And when it comes to stress, it takes care
Of doctors and clinics.
You can give it to kids when they don’t want to sleep
And to melancholy-driven elders to help with death.
An alternative medicine superior to drugs,
“Human” is the most advanced
In well-controlled and meticulous dosages.

very interesting concept you got there cafolini.
I like the way you used 'human' as an analogy to describe its metaphors.

Some of the phrasing is strange so this reader might not have tracked it perfectly.

This seems to be a poem about affirming humanity/seeing human agency in others/empathy. There's a highly effective part toward the end that really stands out; about medicine, putting children to sleep, etc. This reader liked it.
