For your second survey: questions 2-5 are vague and doesn't shed light on the matter. The first and the last questions are the only two that will return any valuable information for exploring the issue of foreign students learning English lit.

Hi there,
As English is my second language and I'm also a student of literature, I think I can be of some help. In your first survey question #2 and #4 are almost same. You may need to rephrase them. As for #7 it varies from story to story. Have you read Kafka's Metamorphosis? It is very difficult to assert what is the writer's point of view in this story. Question #8 needs editing. It would sound better if you say "figures of speech" instead of "kind of literature".

Anyway, I've taken the survey. Good luck! :)
